- Created a network optimization model for a major petrochemical company to better utilize their private fleet and rail infrastructure assets resulting in $33 million in savings.
- Performed a port rationalization study for a major consumer products company reducing the number of ports from 24 to 6 and reducing overall operating costs.
- Developed a vehicle loading optimization model for a Big 3 Automaker identifying over $2.6 million in annual transportation savings.
- Created a network optimization model for a leading paper manufacturer utilizing a forward inventory positioning strategy which yielded an annual savings of $5 million.
- Identified savings of $4 million for two major package goods manufacturers during a recent merger allowing the two companies to better leverage their combined supply chain for greater performance.
- Performed a private railcar fleet optimization, sizing and management analysis for a Fortune 50 consumer goods manufacturer identifying over $3.2 million in savings.
- Implemented our TMS and ModalView systems to manage the tendering of all truck shipments at a leading newsprint manufacturer's mills and the track and trace systems to provide monitoring of all truck and rail shipments across all modes in a single system. A similar solution has been implemented with many other customers.
- Developed a network optimization model with actual vehicle sales records to the dealer level to assist automotive manufacturers, site selection consultants and public entities to predictively model the potential transportation costs of a given plant in any location.
