Ownership of private equipment is a necessity for many industries but carries with it substantial fixed and variable costs. The data collected drives reports showing the flows for each O/D pair detailing loaded and empty transit as well as dwell at origin and destination. Analysis of this data provides customers with critical information that is useful in correcting trouble spots that create poor utilization and increase overall equipment requirements and needless expense. Reviewing customer dwell can also point out corrective action needed to adjust planned customer usage versus forecasted usage.
